What is the difference between turmeric, curcumin, and the curcumin found in CuraMed Syrup?
Turmeric is the plant that provides curcumin, one of a family of compounds from the plant that is associated with a variety of health benefits. However, a typical turmeric rhizome (essentially, the plant’s root) only contains about 2-5 percent curcumin. That means that an unstandardized, powdered turmeric supplement would only supply very little of this valuable compound.

Additionally, even standardized curcumin extracts can be difficult for the body to absorb. That is why the curcumin that we include in our supplements combines curcumin with turmeric essential oil. I could write a book about my experience with CuraMed syrup. But to keep it short, this stuff works, and works well. I’m a professional athlete in an explosive sport that involves lots of jumping and sprinting, so a typical week of training can leave me sore. I used turmeric capsules in the past, but it seemed the effects were hard to notice in my body at all. With this syrup, I began to notice a decrease in overall stiffness after about a week of daily use, and it seemed to last until a few weeks after finishing the bottle.*†^ That said, it’s not a miracle product, you still need to responsible with your food intake. High sugar diets will always lead to soreness. But coupled with a balanced diet, I really feel like this product is for me!^^

Familiar with the curamin products by way of working in a Health Food Store. This new syrup, to me, is the best way to take curcumin. I think it is delicious (no sugar) - so it's like enjoying a treat while getting a great nutrient!
