Additionally, these two herbs have an impressive history of support for both gut and immune health, as well as respiratory function.*
Can children use Bacteril Extra Strength?
The concentrated plant oil ingredients in Bacteril Extra Strength are very powerful. Because of this, one softgel a day is the suggested dosage for children ages 12 years and up. It is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age. Please discuss use of any dietary supplement with your child’s healthcare practitioner.
Why use extra-virgin olive oil to encapsulate the ingredients?
These concentrated plant oil ingredients are carried in extra-virgin olive oil rather than the more commonly used canola oil (or other seed oils), because extra-virgin olive oil is an incredibly effective transporter of these botanicals and doesn’t have the GMO concerns of canola oil.
Can the capsules be chewed?
While the Bacteril Extra Strength softgels were designed to dissolve after swallowing, they can be chewed if desired. While this product was not formulated for taste or flavor, some people enjoy the experience of the potent herbal oils and chew the capsule before swallowing the contents.
