Omega-3 Phospholipid Peptide Complex from Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar)..............................100 mg
Phospholipids, omega-3 [DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)], and bioactive peptides in a balanced ratio as found in salmon; not chemically altered or artificially spiked with DHA/EPA.

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

Brewer’s Yeast, Flavor (flax seed, oregano, and plums), Flax Seed Oil, Glycerin, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative), Rice Bran, Rice Flour, Salt (sodium chloride), Sunflower Lecithin, Tapioca Starch, Water.

 

CAUTIONS:

If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.

How do the omega fatty acids in Intelligent Omega compare to fatty acids from liquid fish oil?

The EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids in Intelligent Omega are carried by phospholipids, which proivide excellent absorption and are very stable (meaning less risk of rancidity). Because this is not an oil-based formula it can be used in a solid delivery system to make an easy-to-administer soft chew that dogs enjoy. The fatty acids themselves offer the same health benefits as triglyceride-based liquid fish oils. 

Can I give Intelligent Omega to a puppy?

Yes, this product can be given to puppies that are eating solids foods and fully weaned—generally, at least 6 weeks old.
